TRC/PRC quick checklist

  1. Confirm your application type. Choose TRC, PRC, or long-term EU resident. Check if your case is one of the exceptions that still use paper submission.
  2. Prepare your login and e-signature method. You need login.gov.pl access and a valid way to sign electronically (for example Trusted Profile).
  3. Prepare digital files. Usually this includes passport scans/photos, a compliant photo, payment confirmation, and supporting documents for your permit basis.
  4. Confirm your voivodeship office. Your case is handled by the office responsible for your place of residence in Poland.
  5. Create your MOS account. Use the new MOS portal. Old MOS accounts were not transferred.
  6. Fill in the form carefully. Match passport details exactly and complete all required sections.
  7. Attach documents and submit. Sign electronically, submit, and save your UPO (official proof of submission).
  8. Watch for office requests. You may be called in person for fingerprints, original documents, and additional formalities.
  9. Do not leave it to the last day. Start early, especially when third-party signatures are required.
  10. Keep your account secure. Do not share your login.gov.pl or MOS credentials.
